November 18^th, 2006:

• Wake up at 2pm J
• Tour of Bern with Aishi

November 20^th, 2006:

• Inger joins us in person, and with our frustrations. Time to take control again.
• Erik gets a haircut
• I know I didn’t have to, but I gave the hair stylist an American-style tip. If only I could have taken a picture. Her face just lit up…especially in contrast to the look of confusion and frustration she had while cutting my hair. Apparently, it was a mess. Sometimes you gotta do what the Romans do. Sometimes you gotta give it a little American flare J
• Erik tries to find meals for the cast. Reactions went something like this:
• “No speak English. You speak Deutsch, Italian, Spanish……?” (but no French)
• “Five francs? You can’t even buy a soda for that. How about for 15 francs?”
• Dinner and drinks with Emmi, Inger, Karin, and Aishi at Aishi’s appartment.
